Be the person everyone wants nearby in an emergency! The SSI React Right program is a comprehensive emergency training course that provides you with the skills and confidence to act as a first responder in a medical emergency. Whether you are a diver or a non-diver, this course covers everything from Primary Assessment and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) to First Aid, AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use, and Oxygen Administration. At Scorpio Madeira, we use a hands-on approach with realistic scenarios to ensure you know exactly what to do when it matters most. This is not just a diving requirement; it is a life-saving skill set for your everyday life.

Itinerary

MeetingScorpio Madeira diving center

MorningPrimary Assessment, CPR techniques, and AED (Defibrillator) workshop.

AfternoonFirst Aid for injuries and illnesses, and Oxygen Administration for diving accidents.

Practical ScenariosHands-on emergency simulations at the center.

CertificationFinal knowledge review and certification procedures.

Not suitable for pregnant women

Not suitable for non-certified divers (Referral level required)

Non-compliance with safety and hygiene protocols during CPR practice.

Important: No flying within 24 hours of your last dive.

Experiencia fantástica! Esta era mi segunda inmersión y me ayudaron en todo, explican todo muy bien antes de entrar en el agua. Durante estan muy atentos a que todo vaya bien y se preocupan de que vayas cómoda y puedas ver animalitos. Se nota que les gusta su trabajo, súper recomendable

We did the "Try Scuba Diving" as a family and was a great experience, the area we dived down to was really interesting. Saw lots of different fish and our instructor took some great vidoes of us. Felt safe and looked after throughout our visit which really helped make it a good experience.

Mi hermano y yo hicimos una inmersión simple desde la orilla con Andrés. Pudimos ver dos tortugas marinas, una intentó mordernos unas cuantas veces pero fue divertido. Andrés fue muy amable y se preocupó mucho por nosotros durante la inmersión. Muy buena visibilidad y el equipo genial.

It was an amazing experience! As a first-time diver, I was quite nervous at the beginning, but the instructor explained everything very clearly and stayed with me throughout the whole dive. After a few minutes I felt much more comfortable underwater. Seeing a Caretta caretta turtle was crazy!
