Can’t decide which diving specialty to take next? The SSI Advanced Adventure program is the perfect solution! This course is designed to give you a taste of five different specialties before you commit to a full program. You will complete five “Adventure Dives”—usually including Deep Diving, Navigation, and Perfect Buoyancy—under the direct supervision of our instructors. It is the best way to gain more experience, improve your skills, and discover what type of diving truly excites you. At Scorpio Madeira, we tailor these dives to our stunning Atlantic environment, ensuring you gain confidence while exploring new depths and techniques. Upon completion, you will be certified to dive up to 30 meters deep worldwide.

Adventure Dive 1Perfect Buoyancy (House Reef).

Adventure Dive 4Elective (e.g., Night, Wreck, or Fish ID).

Day 3Adventure Dive 5: Elective (e.g., Photo/Video or Waves/Tides).

Not suitable for pregnant women

Not suitable for people with severe medical conditions without medical clearance

Not suitable for non-certified divers

Do not travel by plane within 24 hours of your last dive.

Do not interfere with or disturb animal life.

Important: No flying within 24 hours of your last dive.

We did the "Try Scuba Diving" as a family and was a great experience, the area we dived down to was really interesting. Saw lots of different fish and our instructor took some great vidoes of us. Felt safe and looked after throughout our visit which really helped make it a good experience.

Mi hermano y yo hicimos una inmersión simple desde la orilla con Andrés. Pudimos ver dos tortugas marinas, una intentó mordernos unas cuantas veces pero fue divertido. Andrés fue muy amable y se preocupó mucho por nosotros durante la inmersión. Muy buena visibilidad y el equipo genial.

It was an amazing experience! As a first-time diver, I was quite nervous at the beginning, but the instructor explained everything very clearly and stayed with me throughout the whole dive. After a few minutes I felt much more comfortable underwater. Seeing a Caretta caretta turtle was crazy!
